There is something special about watching the last light of the day settle on Mount Antelao. From the balconies of our duplex, you can see the mountain turn pink as the Boite Valley grows quiet below.

Occupying the upper two floors of Ciasa de chi de Tòful, our restored 19th-century family home in Serdes, San Vito di Cadore, this spacious 90 m² Alpine duplex combines the character of an old stone house with the comfort of contemporary living. Cortina d'Ampezzo is approximately 15 minutes away by car.

The space

With three bedrooms — two doubles and one twin — and two bathrooms, the duplex comfortably accommodates six guests. Warm wood finishes, natural materials and carefully chosen furnishings create a welcoming atmosphere without sacrificing modern comfort.

Balconies on both levels open onto sweeping views of Mount Antelao, Monte Rite and the Boite Valley. Whether you're starting the day with coffee or returning from the mountains, the landscape is always part of the experience.

The stua

One of the most meaningful parts of the apartment is the stua, a traditional Alpine room recreated using beams and timber recovered from the original house, some around 150 years old.

We wanted to preserve more than the appearance of an old mountain home. By giving these materials a new purpose, we've kept a tangible part of its history alive.

The duplex has a fully equipped kitchen with an induction hob and Nespresso coffee machine, two bathrooms including a bathtub, underfloor heating, smart home controls and high-speed fibre broadband.

EV and e-bike charging facilities, nearby parking and keyless self-check-in make your stay practical and straightforward.

The location

Ciasa de chi de Tòful sits in Serdes, a quiet hamlet of San Vito di Cadore, with mountain meadows and the Dolomites close at hand. Hiking, skiing, cycling and climbing are all within easy reach, while the house offers a peaceful place to return to at the end of the day.

And on a clear evening, there's the Antelao, catching the last pink light before nightfall.
