The local San Vito ski slopes and lifts are under 1 km from the house, and the wider Dolomiti Superski area around Cortina is within easy reach by car.

How do I get there from the airport? The nearest airport is Venice Marco Polo (VCE), about 135 km away — roughly 1h30 by car, or ~2h by direct ATVO/Cortina Express bus that stops in San Vito. Treviso Airport (TSF) is around 115 km (1h45 by car) and quicker to leave. The closest train station is Calalzo di Cadore, about 20 km away.

Is it a good base for skiing? Yes. The San Vito slopes are under 1 km away, and the Cortina and Dolomiti Superski areas are about 15 minutes by car. Is San Vito di Cadore good in summer, or just for skiing? Both. In summer, hiking trails and mountain rifugi start near the house, with Lago di Sorapis, the Cinque Torri and the Tre Cime within reach, plus the old railway cycle path. In winter, the San Vito slopes are under 1 km and the Dolomiti Superski area is 15 minutes away. It's a true year-round base.

Can it host families and larger groups? Yes. The house has three independent apartments sleeping 2–6 each, which can be booked together for up to 14 guests. Apartments connect by internal staircases, so groups can gather or spread out. There's a private garden, dedicated parking, and self check-in with a code for each apartment.

Is there parking, and can I charge an electric car? Yes. Dedicated private parking sits a short step from the house, with an on-site EV charging point — one, shared across the house — and e-bike charging. There's also a private garden about 30 m from the building.

Can I work remotely from the house? Yes. The apartments have Wi-Fi and comfortable spaces to work, in a quiet village setting well away from the crowds.
